In episode 40 we discuss why pardoning people before they are convicted is wrong. We’re looking at you Trump. In the next segment we talk about vegans and why their argument for not eating or wearing meat is silly. In the last segment Aaron asks, “Why do you think there are so few American Formula 1 drivers?” The answer may surprise you, tune in at 8:30 EST to find out why.
In episode 39 Joe is with us and asks if it would have been better to vote your conscience or to vote for Hillary Clinton knowing that the other option was Trump?. We try and wrap our heads around the simulation argument. Put simply, “Are we in a simulation?” We don’t know and we may never know. Lastly is it better to learn and work on your own car, even if you have the money to take it to a professional? Hopefully in this episode Terrance the Cricket isn’t too intrusive as he had been locked outside to quell the bitching from the drunken cricket.
In episode 38 we try and cover DACA and immigration and what it might mean to be an illegal immigrant in the US. Don’t judge us too harshly after all we are four white guys. Brandon then asks, “What would happen to humanity were the Internet to break irreparably?” What do you, the listener, think might happen? In the last segment we discuss what our favorite decade of car is; styling, performance, and efficiency are at the forefront of their choices.
In episode 37 we are discussing hurricanes Harvey and Irma, their effects on the population of the US, and how global warming ties into the size of Irma in particular. Next we compare film versus digital cameras, which on is better and which we prefer. Lastly Aaron asks a “what if” question pertaining to cars and and adult responsibilities.
In episode 36 we are discussing Hurricane Harvey and what is being done about it and what is not being done. To lighten things up we ask, “Was Gene Roddenberry a time traveler, and can we look forward too a Star Trek type future?” The last segment talks about plastic models and the idea that they help you understand the engineering behind automobiles.
In episode 35 the media is at the forefront of the conversation. Is it Trumps fault for the resurgence of the white nationalist/Neo-Nazi movement or is it the media that is now covering those groups more? Timmy’s topic this week is about evolution/science deniers. The last topic asks, “Can we(humans) make it to Mars and survive, and can we get back.” Do you think it would be a one way trip? Let us know.
In episode 34 we start off by comparing and contrasting the alt-right and anti-fa and Isis. How similar or dissimilar are they in reality. Are humans just complex machines or is there something more, IE: free will? In the last segment we ask, “What makes a car a girls car?” We think it’s a lot simpler than you think.
In episode 33 nuclear war may or may not be at hand. What would it mean if North Korea actually fired a nuke at us? Then we are going to chat about Trump TV and state run TV. Of course you can’t talk about state run TV without bringing up the Sinclair Broadcast Group and their monopoly on right wing crazy talk. In the last segment Aaron would like to complain about auto manufacturers and why they build certain parts out of awful materials knowing that those parts will not last. Oh and we apologize about the cricket we did not hear it until editing the episode.
In episode 32 the sanctions against Russia are at the top of the hour along with a discussion on ICBM’s and who has the capability to bomb us from the other side of the planet. In the next segment we discuss the future of AI, what happened with the Facebook AI, and Elon Musk’s ideas on what may have happened. The last segment is about super cars. Are they form over function or can they actually be useful in everyday life.
In episode 31 we cover Trump again. It’s a never ending whirlwind of absolute garbage and like you we are also sick and tired of talking about Trump and his antics. But alas, we have to speak of him because being complacent is not an option. The second topic is about respect. Is it innate, do you earn it, can it be lost? The last topic is about superhero movies, why are there so many? Aaron spends a good amount of time not staying on topic, whether that’s good or bad is up to you.
