In episode eight we make an attempt at covering the immigration debacle. It may or may not have gone well, you be the judge. We also have a guest called Joe on the program. Joe helps us try and figure out if humans are naturally altruistic. Do you have any idea how difficult of a topic that is for a 15 minute segment? In the last segment we talk about Nascar and why it’s only popular in the U.S. and compare it to the popularity of Formula 1.
In this episode we try to decide whether Steve Bannon is a real person, the actual President, or the man behind the scenes. In the next segment we talk about the four stages of the Dunning-Kruger effect and which one of us is the most narcissistic. In the last segment we discuss our first cars and cars that nobody should like but we fell in love with.
In episode six we cover the paranoid liberals that are stocking up on provisions because Donald Trump is president. Then three guys talk about the Women’s March on Washington, whether it had the desired effect and if it might be the start of a lasting movement. Light and airy for the last segment, we discuss the different types of auto racing and their respective merits.
In episode five we chat about Betsy Devos, her ideas for the Department of Education, and why her ideas are not in favor of quality education. Then we talk about special interest groups, (P.E.T.A., M.A.D.D.), and what happens when they reach their goals. In the final segment we discuss The Grand Tour and wax poetic on why the hosts are not on Top Gear anymore and should try a slightly different format.
